Bese Saka (BEH-SAY SAH-KAH) is a holistic school serving preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) & elementary (6 & 7 year olds), where all core subjects — including early math, reading, science, and social-emotional learning — are taught through a Whole-Child approach.
Our "Whole-Child" approach centers small-class learning around Movement, Play, Culture, Emotional Connection, and Creativity, ensuring every child receives the focused attention, care, and stimulation they need to thrive.
At Bese Saka, we believe early education is where leadership begins. Just as the kola nut once powered economies, diplomacy, and connection across many countries of Africa, a strong start in the early years builds the knowledge, confidence, and identity that fuel a child’s future power. We’re not just teaching — we’re planting the roots of tomorrow’s thinkers, leaders, and changemakers.
The name Bese Saka means “Sack of Kola Nuts” in Twi — a symbol of value, prosperity, and cultural wealth. Before cocoa, kola nuts were a vital trade good across communities and nations, representing the richness that comes from shared knowledge and purposeful exchange.
Bese Saka Academy follows an educational framework rooted in active learning and deep student engagement, where each child's cultural background and lived experience is honored and woven into the learning process.

Bese Saka Academy is state-licensed & approves these forms of payment:
Dropoff: 7:45am Pickup: 3:30pm
📚 Child Care Works Subsidy ............................ Rate: $167.35 weekly
📚 Private Pay ................................ Rate: $180 weekly
After care available until 4:30pm.
Note: Students must be enrolled full-time (5-8 hours).
